Iowa Troop Pantry Box Packing 9-16-2010

Today I got to join Iowa Troop Pantry packing boxes! We did 5 boxes. One was packed with dog treats because the soldier has a dog in Afghanistan with him to sniff out explosives. I met a man at the Vet's Golf outing, gave him the ITP info and my email... he sent me info for a member of his family and we made a box just for him! It really hit home for me when I actually helped pack.... it made it even more real that our soldiers need us. Helping today motivated me even more to get donations for our troops!
